As Setur Marinas Ayvalık Bazaar celebrates its first anniversary, it has quickly become everyone's meeting point thanks to its hosting of global brands and the vibrancy it brings to the city. We personally met with the people of Ayvalık and took their opinions for Setur Marinas, which values the opinions and expectations of its guests both at sea and on land. Here are the results we have reached:

 

Question 1: How do you find the Bazaar? What has it brought to your life?

The fact that the Bazaar is located within the marina, right by the sea, makes everyone happy. The scent of the sea filling the cafés and the silhouettes of boats blending into the landscape are a pleasure in themselves.

Students report that when there was no Bazaar, they could only spend their lunch breaks in the schoolyard, but now they come to the Bazaar. Here, the presence of cafés where they can relax and shops that meet their needs transforms the Bazaar into a hub of life for them, a getaway.

 

Middle-aged housewives and executives emphasize that the architecture of the Bazaar adds dynamism to the city and offers faster and easier access to brands in big cities. They believe that the presence of such brands in Ayvalık has contributed to the growth of the city and enriched its cultural life.

Participants aged 50 to 75 say that they spend time at the Bazaar almost every day, and that the Bazaar has become a great asset both for themselves and for Ayvalık. According to them, the Bazaar is now a meeting point for those who come to "see" and "be seen".

Question 2: When you visit the Bazaar, in which places do you spend most of your time?

Regardless of age, we have received a common response to this question: all places. When we ask for further details, the second answer is "eating and drinking places".

 

Question 3: Which brands located in the Bazaar do you recognize?

Guests recognize almost all brands. The most striking quote is as follows: "Since there are already global brands in the Bazaar, it’s like there are no brands we don't know!"

Guests report that they "comfortably" recommend all of these brands to their friends and family due to their quality, reputation, and accessibility. Additionally, the pleasant atmosphere of the Bazaar and the shops' decor, which complements the architecture, are appreciated.

 

Question 4: Which brands located in the Bazaar come to mind first?

  • For middle-aged people... Beymen Club – Due to the service quality, professional team approach, and the impact of the store atmosphere! Followed by Ayvalıkzade, İpekyol/Twist, So Chic, The North Shield...
  • For people aged 50–75... Divan Pub – This place stands out with its wide variety of products that appeal to all segments. Dükkân, Bedri Usta, Ramsey, and Avva are also among the most popular brands.

 

The conclusion we draw from all these comments is as follows: Ayvalık Bazaar, now in its first year, seems to have become more than just a shopping destination but also a new place for gathering and sharing, right by the sea.
