The sustainable and responsible marina management approach of Setur Marinas can be seen not only in marina services but also in its sports and social responsibility events. Two of this month's events, "Sail for the Disabled" and "AquaChallenge", attracted sea and sports lovers to Kalamış & Fenerbahçe Marina and Kaş Marina.

Organized by Kadıköy Ahenk Lions Club in Kalamış for many years, "Sail for the Disabled" event introduced 50 disabled individuals to the sea and sailing this year. The guests attending the event first got to know the pleasant atmosphere of the marina and then boarded the boats and set sail to the sea accompanied by professional instructors. Participants who learned how to steer thanks to this short training were presented with certificates at the end of the day. This meaningful event will undoubtedly be an unforgettable memory for the participants, and who knows, it may even lead to new sailors.

The International Arena AquaChallenge Swimming Championship, organized for the 24th time this year and of which Setur Marinas has been the main sponsor for quite some time, kicked off at Kaş Marina. Hundreds of athletes competed in the incomparable waters of the Mediterranean at AquaChallenge, one of Türkiye's most prestigious open water swimming organizations. The "Setur Marinas 10K Open Water Swimming Championship", which is the longest and most endurance-demanding category of the competition, provided great excitement.

The star of the event this year was Danish Olympic swimmer Pernille Blume, who won gold at the 2012 Olympic Games and bronze at the 2020 Olympic Games in the 50-meter freestyle. This year's organization was closely monitored by the international community with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands.

While the athletes and guests enjoyed the events, Setur Marinas was delighted to once again contribute to the maritime culture with these two events.
