About Us

History

Setur Marinas, a Koç Group company, started its operations in 1978 with Çeşme Altınyunus Marina. Setur Marinas, one of the leading marina chains in the Mediterranean region, is also the leading marina chain in Turkey.

Having continued its marina operations with Çeşme Marina until the 1990s, Setur Marinas increased the number of marinas to two with the lease of Antalya Marina in January 1991. After a two-year investment period, Setur Antalya Marina was transformed into a complete marina in every aspect and took its place in the sector with a new image. In May 2007, the operation was transferred to Setur Antalya Marina and on 2 September 2013, the marina joined Setur Marinas again.

Looking for new marina investments in response to the increasing demand in the Eastern Mediterranean, Setur Marinas took another important step towards chain marina management with Finike Marina, which it took over in April 1997.

Ayvalık Marina, an important port of call for sailors travelling from north to south, was added to the Setur Marinas chain in August 1997. In the same year, Karacasöğüt Marina, a protected natural area in the Marmaris region, was included in the Setur Marinas chain without harming the natural beauty of the area and was organized to serve as a port of call for cruising sailors.

In 1997, Kuşadası Marina was taken over and, after a short period of investment, was fully equipped and opened for yachting.

Kalamış and Fenerbahçe Marinas, which were opened in 1987 and are the largest marinas in Turkey, were added to the Setur Marinas chain in December 1998.

In August 2005, 55% of the shares of Netsel Marina in Marmaris, the second largest marina in Turkey, were acquired by Setur Marinas and added to the chain.

In 2007, the tender for Yalova Marina was won and Setur Yalova Marina was inaugurated in 2010.

In 2011, Kaş Marina, one of the most exclusive marinas in Turkey, joined our marinas.

In 2012, Mytilene Marina, located on the third largest Greek island of Lesbos, was added to our marinas.

In 2023, Setur Marinas Ören Rib&Refit Park opened with dry dock winterization, boat maintenance and repair services and is on its way to becoming a major player in the sector with its state-of-the-art services.

Setur Marinas, which operates a total of 11 marinas (Kalamış/Fenerbahçe, Yalova, Ayvalık, Lesbos, Çeşme, Kuşadası, Marmaris, Kaş, Finike, Antalya, Demre Marinas) and 1 dry dock area, Ören Rib&Refit Park is the most important brand supporting the development of the marina sector in Turkey.
